What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern - Credit Risk Assistant position at Opportunities at Towne?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review Treasury Services documents & reports for ACH (automated clearing house) to ensure compliance with policy.
- Review non-complex credits for risk rating accuracy.
- Assist as needed in monthly report preparation and review, and data entry.
- Complete other research projects as needed to assist the department.
- Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Summer Internship Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have completed at least one year of college and currently enrolled in college
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, beginning May 19, through early-mid August (end date is somewhat flexible)
- Detail oriented
- Punctual and dependable
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Word and Excel
- High level of confidentiality
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to work well in a professional setting
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Strong writing skills
- Finance or accounting background preferred
