Primary Purpose:
A full-time, paid summer position with a structured set of responsibilities that will expose you to one or more functional areas within Towne. Develop automation, integration, and business process applications primarily using cloud platforms.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop Applications using Microsoft Azure Private and Public Cloud solutions, Microsoft 365, and Service Now
- Develop and manage integrations between Cloud, On-Premises, and 3rd-party systems
- Create repeatable, reusable, and automated processes to provision cloud resources at scale
- Re-Develop PowerShell Scripts to Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
- Consume Web Service based APIs
- Monitoring application and system performance
- Assist with database design
- Assist with logical application design
- Create and Modify technical documentation representing the design, workflow, and topology of new and existing applications
- Participate in weekly Stand-Up Meetings
- Practice Secure by design
- Stay current on the latest cloud technologies as it relates to application development
- Stay current on the latest development patterns, best practices, tools, frameworks, and security
- Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Summer Internship Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have completed at least one year of college and currently enrolled in college
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, mid-May through August
- Punctual and dependable
- Works well in a team environment
- Detailed oriented and willing to help others
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Azure LogicApps, Functions, App Services, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault
- Understanding of Cloud Computing, Virtualization Technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service
- Understanding of technical infrastructure: firewalls, load balancers, hypervisors, storage, monitoring, and security
- Understanding of Software Architecture
- Understanding of Application Integration Architecture
- Understanding of Data Management and Integration
- Understanding of IT and Software Security
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure
- Understanding of Relational and Non-Relational Database concepts
- Understanding of Message Queuing Concepts
