Our Weatherization/Energy Services team is hiring new and experienced installers and trades people to retrofit residential homes with energy-saving devices and systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing insulation and windows, air sealing residential buildings, cleaning, tuning, and repairing heating systems, and other tasks as directed in work plans
- Organizing materials for daily work activity
- Driving and proper care of agency work trucks
- Complying with safety rules and guidelines
This position works four, 10-hour days and is provided a uniform, tools, and transportation to job sites.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/equivalent; 2-years’ experience in residential construction, weatherization, carpentry, or similar field; ability to safely use hand and power tools including ladders; an understanding of building construction and materials; a valid New York State driver's license; obtain certifications as required by program.
Pay Range Guide:
High School Diploma/equivalent; 2-years’ experience in residential construction, weatherization, carpentry, or similar field; ability to safely use hand and power tools including ladders; an understanding of building construction and materials; a valid New York State driver's license; obtain certifications as required by program.
Pay Range Guide:
- Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
- Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)
