About the role
The People Operations Generalist (HR Generalist) manages the day-to-day operations of the People Operations office. The HR Generalist reports directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and is tasked with the administration of the People Operations policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas : administrative, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment.

What you"ll do
- Administrative
- Updates employee files to document personnel actions, and evaluations and to provide information for payroll and other issues.
- Update and maintain the HRIS System
- Coordinate with Payroll personnel all changes in employee's pay, status and taxes.
- Assists with planning and conducting New Hire Orientation and training classes, including but not limited to, ensuring the completion of new hire paperwork, including badges, fostering company goals, and teaching training and orientation classes
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as needed
- Performs other tasks for the People Operations Department when needed.
- Assists in establishing departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company"s strategic goals
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of the People Operation section on the website, particularly culture, company information, and Intranet sites

Salary : $60,000-65,000 annually
