What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Insp Ctrl Tech II position at Opportunities with The Dixon Group?
We are looking for a Quality Inspection/Control Technician to join our team in West Chester, OH! The ideal candidate will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests on incoming products as well as during the internal manufacture of products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of related experience; this includes a working knowledge of standard metrology gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM and/or PCMM), and any other instruments commonly used in quality control inspections. Experience with PolyWorks, Mitutoyo MCOSMOS, or a portable measuring arm is a plus!

Essential Functions:
Perform inspection and testing as required (receiving, first-article, machine shop, etc.).
Creates and edits quality control inspection documents, procedures, and corrective
action requests.
Verify gauge calibration and keep records up to date.
Support purchasing, warehouse and production with quality control inspection to
engineering drawings and specifications.
Record observations and make recommendations for improving processes.
Provide mechanical and technical assistance as needed to support manufacturing
operations.
Provide technical support for tooling, gaging, and related items.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
Extensive knowledge and use of gauges, tooling and other items used in quality
inspections
Familiarity with CMM and similar tools
Well-versed in quality control processes
Part and assembly inspection criteria
Detail oriented
Well organized
3D CAD knowledge preferred
