Position Summary:
This role of a Client Relations Specialist is multifaceted, and combines client support, operational oversight, platform proficiency, and strategic partnership within a startup wealth management firm.
Major Responsibilities:
Client Support and Account Management:
- Provide accurate, timely, and effective support to clients, ensuring their accounts are properly maintained and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Coordinate onboarding for new clients, handling necessary paperwork and facilitating smooth integration into the firm’s systems.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies, processes, and systems that support the firm’s operations, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, productivity standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Leadership and strategy collaboration, this involves working closely with the leadership team to develop and implement workforce strategies that align with the firm's overall goals for growth and efficiency.
Tax Management & Portfolio Oversight:
- Supervise tax management for portfolios within the Adhesion platform.
- Familiarity with SMAs (Separately Managed Accounts) and UMAs (Unified Managed Accounts) is beneficial.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software, with the ability to create presentations, and documents that support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- Experience using Addepar preferred, including report creation, portal management, and data integrity.
- Fluency in Fidelity’s Wealthscape Platform: Expertise in using Fidelity’s Wealthscape platform is preferred, particularly in utilizing the Integrated Cashiering feature to efficiently support clients’ cash flow needs.
- Prior experience with dual custodial platforms such as Schwab and Fidelity is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and leadership.
- Proven ability to foster relationships, collaborate with colleagues at all levels, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: A track record of anticipating challenges, finding creative solutions, and proactively taking action to resolve issues before they escalate.
