JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Company’s facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintenance
Maintains cleanliness of all floors, including, but not limited to, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, stripping and/or sealing. Cleans all washroom facilities. Cleans walls and windows and dusts furniture and fixtures moving furniture when necessary. Empties all trash containers. Maintains inventory of supplies needed to carry out duties. Maintains cleanliness of Company grounds by sweeping parking areas and sidewalks and picking up and emptying garbage. Removes snow from Company sidewalks and parking areas. May be required to perform lawn maintenance.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One-year work experience as a janitor.
• Self-motivated and hard working.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and write.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to and including 75 pounds.
• Ability to frequently carry objects weighing up to and including 75 pounds.
• Ability to frequently push and/or pull objects weighing up to and including 75 pounds.
• Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb and/or squat.
• Ability to withstand exposure to extreme climate variations; exposure to heat and cold.
• Ability to frequently stand/walk.
