High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license. At least two years’ experience normally required. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening. |
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capable of ordering parts if needed, scheduling, completing and closing Safety and Priority service letters within 6 months of service letters being released both in the field and shop.
Capable of installing and repairing Productlink hardware in the field and shop.
Perform maintenance, repairs and reconditioning of all products serviced by Stowers Machinery with no supervision from an assigned field truck on the customer job site.
Has the ability to direct and supervise technicians on jobs that require additional technicians.
Follows directions accurately and performs tasks in an efficient time while working with no supervision.
Work performed is mistake and error free. Accepts responsibility for own work and understands the impact of this work on the company.
Capable of inspecting machines and determining parts reusability and developing parts and material lists as needed without supervision.
Shows interest in own work and displays ability to learn new tasks.
Has knowledge of test equipment and procedures.
Capable of diagnosing problems, making repair decisions, and setting up jobs with no supervision.
Follows all DOT laws and exhibits safe driving practices while driving company vehicles.
Prepared to purchase hand tools as required to perform the job and. Properly safeguards all tools. Keeps an updated itemized record of employee-owned tools on file, which includes pictures, and cost of tools and toolbox.
Completes service reports at the completion of each job and ensures accuracy of reports with no assistance from supervisor or lead.
Completes job time cards completely and accurately as jobs are finished daily.
Orders all parts accurately without supervision to minimize parts returns and charges time to the proper work order and segments.
Handles all parts returns and core credits in accordance with company policies.
