General Summary and Purpose:
You will be an integral member of a small, dynamic team whose primary contribution will be to provide quantitative research and to build analytical tools & reports to support the Global & International Equities Strategies.
You will report to the Chief Investment Officer of RS Global.
You Will:
- Assist in reviewing and refining existing global equity stock selection models.
- Conduct new alpha & risk research with analytical packages to improve investment processes.
- Evaluate financial datasets; model performance, risk analytics.
- Assist with data reports on sales/marketing content.
- Refine and develop alpha model tools to assist model data input validation.
- Develop appropriate signal back test/research infrastructure.
- Work closely with the IT department to improve/monitor daily production of alpha signals and risk data processing.
You Have:
- Master’s degrees in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics.
- Possess CFA designation or interest in pursuing CFA designation.
- 10 years’ experience working with equity market data.
- Prior buy side experience in a quantitative equity research role preferred.
- Solid understanding of risk management concepts, worked with industry standard risk tools (ie BARRA, Axioma).
- Strong knowledge of Factset.
- Proficiency in script coding, (ie experience in R, SAS, Matlab, Python); SQL/Power BI experience a plus.
- Experience or interest in blending quantitative and fundamental analytics.
- Experience working on global/international equities with understanding of international accounting rules and market structure.

Target Compensation:
The target base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000.
Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.
Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department, and individual performance.
Victory Capital Management’s total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
