Opportunity Bank of Montana is adding to our outstanding team with a Loan Servicing Quality Control Specialist in Helena, Montana. As our Loan Servicing Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing new loans boarded, modifications, change in terms, renewals, maintenance, and other loan servicing activity. You will also reconcile loan servicing related monetary transactions, general ledgers, and accounts:
- Review new loans boarded, modifications, change in terms, renewals, maintenance, and other loan servicing activity to ensure loans are entered into the servicing system accurately.
- Review loan maintenance to ensure compliance with the loan terms and supporting documentation.
- Review designated monetary transactions for accuracy, proper authorization, validating computations, such as interest adjustments, prepayment calculations, etc.
- Reconcile loan servicing related general ledgers, and accounts.
- Track and confirm correction of employee exceptions and communicate to the Loan Servicing Quality Control Supervisor/Manager.
- Review and verify accuracy of electronic documents in company archive system.
- Assist with maintaining and revising existing and new procedures related to loan servicing.
- Understand and be familiar with loan servicing processes including boarding new loans, escrow administration, modifications/change in terms, loan regulations and investor guidelines.
- Complete ongoing Loan Servicing Quality Control training, as assigned, in a timely manner.
- Assist with audit and exam preparation.
- Assist management with special projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Educational and Experience Preferences
Knowledge of loan servicing processes
General knowledge of lending principles Knowledge of basic accounting functions and
terminology
Familiarity with bank regulations
