Lead Teacher - Assistant Child Care Teacher

Enhance the emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual well-being of children at Kids Unlimited Early Learning Center.

• Provide personal cares to children at Kids Unlimited Early Learning Center; including feeding, toileting, diapering, etc.
• Develop and implement child activity plans based on the age and developmental abilities of the children
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as appropriate to individual child’s needs
• Monitor the health and safety of each child served
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with the family

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent is preferred
• Must have completed / or is currently enrolled in the required early childhood trainings for assistant teachers according to State Licensing
• Three to four years of related experience working in day care or related field
• Must be CPR / First Aid certified
• Must have received SIDs and Shaken Baby Syndrome trainings
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years and a good driving record
• Must have proof of personal vehicle insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal and caregiver background check
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test, physical evaluation, and TB Test
• The employee must frequently lift, support, and / or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift, support, and / or move up to 100 pounds
• Frequent to occasional, bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, standing, and walking
• Must be caring and compassionate, and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients
