Job Description
In this position you will organize projects, train and supervise workers and monitor productivity and quality. Specifically, you will supervise an assembly or kitting line where adults with developmental disabilities complete jobs for our various customers.
Qualifications
- Knowledge customarily acquired through formal education resulting in a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Education or training in the rehabilitation field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle or transport people in employee’s own vehicle.
- Communication skills, both written and oral in English.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors in the office and community settings.
- Mechanical skills and understanding of equipment operations.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to supervise the work of others.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to understand the abilities and limitations of population.
- Physical ability to meet the requirements of the position.
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
