SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manager of Dining Room Operations the Food Service Sanitation worker is responsible for various sanitation duties at the Nellis Air Force Base Dining Facility. This person will ensure the dining area and kitchen equipment are cleaned and well stocked and all duties are performed in accordance with departmental and military policies, practices, and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bussing dining room tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, i.e., ovens, stoves, refrigerators and beverage area.
- Clean and operate dishwasher.
- Clean and sanitize pots/pans, dishes, and flatware.
- General cleaning of the entire dining, kitchen, restroom, loading docks, grease areas, storage, and trash area.
- Work efficiently and professionally with team members and military personnel.
- Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
- May be assigned other duties as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, team members, military personnel and supervisors (verbal and written).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Required: Current Food Handlers Card or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: At least one (1) year experience in a related field preferred.
