SUMMARY
The Community Programs Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting Opportunity Village's mission to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities by promoting independence, skill development, and community inclusion. Under the direction of the Director of Program Services, this position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Neighborhood Clubs and Community Cohorts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and fostering a safe and supportive environment. The Supervisor will manage program components, provide leadership to team members, and implement strategies to maximize program participants' functional abilities and well-being, empowering them to achieve their personal and vocational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize appropriate methods for working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment that promotes the well-being of individuals served, team members, and volunteers, ensuring proper staffing ratios and facility upkeep.
- Support recruitment, department orientation, team member development, and continuous training efforts to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for success.
- Ensure cost-effective program operations by adhering to budgetary guidelines, including accurate enrollment, attendance tracking, billing, and supply management.
- Review and verify team member payroll for accuracy, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Regularly review and assess individuals' Person-Centered Plans, ID notes, quarterly reports, consent forms, and data tracking to ensure alignment with care standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise team member involvement in goal-specific activities and ensure accurate and timely documentation of individuals' progress toward their goals.
- Collaborate with nursing and care coordination teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for individuals.
- Ensure adherence to all Federal and State regulations to maintain compliance and uphold high-quality care standards.
- Follow and uphold Opportunity Village's established policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality in service delivery.
- Actively engage in community outreach, public education, and advocacy efforts to support individuals with disabilities and raise awareness.
- Representing the organization at community events, resource fairs, hiring events, or disability awareness campaigns.
- Facilitating on-site tours for community members, stakeholders, and partner organizations to showcase services, success stories, and day-to-day programming.
- Hosting and coordinating volunteer groups, providing orientation, guidance, and context around working with individuals with disabilities.
- Participating in Person-Centered Planning (PCP) meetings as an advocate and professional voice, collaborating with the individual's support team to ensure meaningful outcomes.
13. Participates in investigations regarding incidents of abuse, neglect, isolation, or exploitation, ensuring timely and thorough reporting.
14.Compile and organize data for grant reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission for community program funding opportunities.
15. Build and nurture relationships with community partners to facilitate long-term engagement, training opportunities, and enriching program outings.
16. Some travel to various locations in the Las Vegas area and between Opportunity Village campuses.
17. Must be able to meet all requirements of OV vehicle policies and travel:
- Between worksite locations
- Within the community
18. May be assigned other duties as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position oversees the work of Direct Support Professionals, Senior Direct Support Professionals, and Lead Direct Support Professionals.
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, team members, and supervisors (verbal and written).
- Ability to care, respond, and work with individuals with developmental disabilities.

- Ability to resolve multiple complex issues simultaneously while remaining calm in stressful situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable supervisory experience in the Human Services or Health Care field.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Health Care, or a related field, with at least one (1) year of verifiable supervisory experience in the Human Services or Health Care field.
- Required: Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
- Required: Current CPI certification within 30 days of employment
- Required: Current CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment
- Required: Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
