As a server at Ole Red, you play a crucial role in delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests! You will be responsible for extending a warm greeting to our guests, providing them detailed information about the menu, drink offerings, and entertainment information. Experience in restaurant operations and with POS check and cash handling systems is a plus!
In this role you will:
- Manage the service process including taking orders, and suggestively selling menu items.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and bar team.
- Anticipate the guests needs, and respond to any questions concerns or complaints with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Manage multiple tables at one time efficiently, with an upbeat attitude.
- Perform opening and closing duties as necessary.
- Uphold all Ole Red safety and sanitation standards.
- Process payments including cash, credit card or travelers check.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in restaurant operations
- POS check and cash handling experience
- Strong intrapersonal skills
- Wine and liquor knowledge
- Hold a State Alcohol Education Card (must have upon hire)
- Hold a State Food Handler Safety Card (must have upon hire)
