Buyer / vendor scheduling - Key Responsibilities
- Issue and strategically schedule purchase orders to ensure the flow of supplies material.
- Ensure accuracy in purchase orders by adhering to company policies and considering current inventory and upcoming deliveries.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Analyze procurement data and monitor key performance metrics to assess procurement efficiency.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and visits to evaluate their performance and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and strategic partners.
- Source new products and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manufacturers to secure favorable terms.
- Implement an effective system for tracking and monitoring purchase orders and deliveries.
