What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fractional Controller position at OPSPro, LLC?
Job Summary: OPSPro specializes in providing small businesses and government contractors with compliance and operational support to include HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT. The Fractional Controller position is a part-time (approx. up to 10hrs/week), fully remote position reporting directly to the CEO.

- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with financial regulations.
- Assess and improve current processes and accounting methods.
- Providing financial insights and analysis to senior management.
- Maintain the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
- Review and monitor accruals and prepayments for proper posting.
- Create and post journal entries, including recurring entries.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- 10 years accounting experience
- 2 years month-end/year-end closing experience
- Procas experience highly preferred
- Experience presenting financials to CEO
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Payroll experience
- Advanced MS Excel capabilities (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc.)
