The Position
OPSWAT is seeking a professional, dedicated and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our Tampa Warehouse office. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, coordinating with external contractors and vendors, and fostering a professional and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Additionally, the Office Manager will assist in the domestic and international procurement process for key supply chain orders and shipping logistics.

The Position

Additionally, the Office Manager will assist in the domestic and international procurement process for key supply chain orders and shipping logistics.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee and manage facilities maintenance of the Tampa Warehouse.
- Monitor and enforce office security, safety and health protocols.
- Maintain a clean and clutter free office and warehouse.
- Organize and manage food programs for the office.
- Plan and execute office events – on-site and off-site.
- Research and execute office enhancements and maintenance projects.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Provide general administrative support, including:
- Answer phones and take detailed messages.
- Maintain office inventory and office supplies.
- Act as office ambassador in greeting, sign-in procedures and assisting all visitors and/or customers.
- Develop and manage the office budget.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Office Management or as an Office Assistant.
- Positive outlook with professional demeanor, and a can-do attitude.
- Availability for after-hours work, when needed.
- Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Adept in domestic and international shipping procedures using USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL platforms.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, and exert yourself physically for long periods if necessary.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty when needed.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety guidelines such as OSHA are a plus.
