WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting overall financial operations. Responsibilities include:
- Handling general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and budget analyses
- Ensuring compliance with government contracts, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Managing month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assisting with audits, tax filings, and financial planning
- Working closely with management to improve financial efficiency and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in accounting (government contract experience preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
