Spa Pool & Fireplace Installation Technician

Full-time Installation & Maintenance Technician wanted for local company with over 45 years servicing the Portland / Vancouver area. This role provides in home installation of wood, pellet and gas stoves, light remodel and finish work, and general maintenance of, as well as spa chemical chemistry and cleaning. Willing to train the right individual who is motivated, has some mechanical aptitude, is reliable and responsible and is customer service focused. Good driving record required. Great team-oriented work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Performing scheduled installation & maintenance service at customer homes.
• Provides timely, professional, and high-quality customer service to customers by responding to and resolving problems, inquiries and requests via telephone, email, and in-person.
• Ensures the ongoing documentation of all installation and billing procedures and processes through invoicing, and service tickets.
• Use of common power tools and construction materials of our trade, pipe threading, drills, saws and cutters.
• Common tasks include installing gas piping, chimney liners, handling stoves/fireplaces up to 450 lbs on hand-trucks, and lifting into position, climbing on ladders, crawling into crawl spaces, working on roofs, with safety harness when appropriate.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintains chemical stability and cleanliness of hot tubs and pools as trained and instructed.
• Available to answer questions for staff in order to ensure quality and timely customer service.
• Maintains stock of parts and chemicals and cleanliness in assigned vehicle.
• Maintains highest standard of professionalism while in the field and dealing with customers.
• Maintains constant communication with dispatch at corporate office to ensure quality customer service and safety.
• Performs other functions as assigned by the Supervisor.

Field environment: Technician will be driving from house to house, with face-to-face assistance to customers.

Wage Range: $19-23 per hour (Higher rate available for experience)
