Optimae LifeServices is hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for Des Moines. This position is for weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 12AM-4PM. Applicants should be caring, creative, and passionate about working with people experiencing Mental Illness, Intellectual, and/or Developmental Disabilities. Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance.
- Able to pass a required background check, which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse, criminal record and driving record check.
Duties:
- Supporting our customer's in their social and learning environment.
- Assisting with activities of daily living.
- Supporting our customers to achieve their personal goals.
- We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills.
- No experience necessary.
