Optimae LifeServices, Inc. is looking for part-time floating Entry Level Mental Health Professionals (Direct Support Professionals (DSP)) for our sites in Knoxville. Will mostly be scheduled for the day shift Monday through Friday, but will work whenever needed.
Applicants should possess a willingness and desire to work with people experiencing Mental Illness, Intellectual, and Developmental Disabilities. If you want more than a job, join our team where you can make a difference; assist in teaching life skills to individuals in a community based setting.
Duties:
- Utilize our customer's individualized service plans to teach daily job/living skills.
- Complete individual service documentation following Optimae's policy and procedure.
- Provide transportation support for out Dayhab/Community Integration Program.
We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills. Flexible scheduling and no experience necessary, we will train.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance.
- Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check.
