Job Description:
We are hiring a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide therapeutic support and case management to individuals experiencing addiction and related mental health issues. This role is integral to our commitment to whole-person care and long-term recovery support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake evaluations and SUD assessments.
- Facilitate structured therapy groups and psychoeducation sessions.
- Collaborate with clients to set recovery goals and implement action plans.
- Support clients in accessing housing, employment, and other wraparound services.
- Deliver culturally competent and inclusive care.
- Track client progress and maintain detailed treatment notes.
- Respond to crises and implement de-escalation techniques as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or equivalent in Oregon.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals in recovery.
- Knowledge of 12-step programs, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and peer support models.
- Empathy, patience, and commitment to ethical practice.
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
