Position Description :
- Seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer with expertise in Design & Release Engineering within the automotive industry, specializing in ECU (Electronic Control Unit) software releases.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of system engineering principles, hands-on experience in the release process of ECU software, and the agility of a launch engineer.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to work with complex cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality automotive solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Design & Release Engineering
- Led the design and release process of ECU software within automotive projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Coordinated with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and validation) to ensure the successful release of ECU software.
- Oversaw technical documentation, design reviews, and change management throughout the product lifecycle.
- ECU Software Development & Release : Interfaced with software development teams to ensure robust integration, functionality, and performance of ECU software.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive engineering, specifically in Design & Release and ECU software management. Proven experience in the full software release lifecycle within automotive systems (ECU, embedded systems).
- Strong knowledge of system engineering processes, functional safety standards (ISO 26262), and automotive architectures.
- Experience working in agile project environments, with a focus on timely product delivery and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Previous experience in launch engineering or managing product launches within the automotive sector.
