Position Description :
Seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer with expertise in Design & Release Engineering within the automotive industry, specializing in ECU (Electronic Control Unit) software releases.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of system engineering principles, hands-on experience in the release process of ECU software, and the agility of a launch engineer.
This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to work with complex cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality automotive solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills Required :
Design & Release Engineering
Led the design and release process of ECU software within automotive projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Coordinated with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and validation) to ensure the successful release of ECU software.
Oversaw technical documentation, design reviews, and change management throughout the product lifecycle.
ECU Software Development & Release : Interfaced with software development teams to ensure robust integration, functionality, and performance of ECU software.
Experience Required :
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive engineering, specifically in Design & Release and ECU software management. Proven experience in the full software release lifecycle within automotive systems (ECU, embedded systems).
Strong knowledge of system engineering processes, functional safety standards (ISO 26262), and automotive architectures.
Experience working in agile project environments, with a focus on timely product delivery and issue resolution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.
Previous experience in launch engineering or managing product launches within the automotive sector.
Education Required :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
