Position Duties:
- Review morning inventories for potential critical levels
- Check part status for all customers
- Check parts owed to plants
- Analyze and prepare any expedites needed for plants
- Review all customers using the same part and prioritize shipments
- Make shippers for early trucks and print Pick list at shipping office
- Add shortage parts to Critical list
- Coordinate with Scheduling the required die sets and changeover to protect customers
- Review Rack Status and Daily Rack Inventory for shortages
- Enter outbound shipments into OBL
- Review car manifests in CMMS to find required racks
- Check TSAA for overdue rail cars or inbound trucks
- Review for critical shortages from plant startup
- Put lineup in CMMS informing customer what is being done about any parts that are out of transit
- Check all customers for CUM disagreements
- Answer all part shortages
- Monitor part statuses at customers in CMMS and answer required status changes as the day progresses
- Review Service parts requirements for coming week
- Monitor shipping progress (Service ships over several days)
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- MS Office Suite
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Manufacturing plant experience
Skills Required:
- Coordinating, communication, collaboration, material flow, project management.
Skills Preferred:
- Microsoft Office, analytical skills, problem solving/
Experience Required:
- Manufacturing assembly and machining experience desired
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Safety and MP&L experience a plus
- Knowledge of constraint management principles
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
