Position Description:
Plant Engineering Process Coach
Skills Required:
- Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems
- Validate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely, efficiently, and producing quality parts at rate
- Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
- Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
- Basic Administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
- Assign appropriate trades and engineering resources to maintain production equipment for continuous operation.
- Improve existing maintenance job plans based on failures, input from skill trades and engineering team.
- Promotes and ensure constant improvement in the organization toward the common goal of improving product quality, plant competitiveness and total cost structure
- Ensures department follows government/industry safety and quality standards
- Coordinate the resources and activities required to ensure problem free start-up
Facilitate start-up/shift to shift meeting
Experience Required:
- 2-3 years technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong problem-solving and conflict leadership skills
Education Required:
High School Diploma
Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends.
Position is Fully Onsite.
