IT Operations Leader

Travel: Up to 15% to other warehouses in the area. The furthest would be 2 hours.
This individual will have a site lead that will be designating work to them via an Answers queue. Certifications are not needed, but obvious basic IT skills and a willingness to learn will be required. IT experience will trump education for this position.
Skills:
-Manufacturing IT: Networking, MDOS, Shop Floor Triage & IT
-Only boots on ground, so will need the ability to understand what is being asked.
-Knowledge of computers, handhelds, tablets
-Wireless networking familiarity
Responsible for ongoing delivery and support of specific applications.
Works with business unit customers, regional it leaders, other service owners, corporate architecture and outside suppliers to ensure the delivered services meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Manages relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Reviews service delivery and support metrics; drives continuous improvement and standards across applications.
Ensures on-going service compliance with all company policies or legal requirements.
Encourages root cause analysis using the formal problem solving approach for recurring issues.
Manages the application portfolio; application availability, and ensures that tools and resources are capable.
Champions the use of Six Sigma to reduce costs and improve processes.
