The QA / CMM Tech performs hands-on work to develop, characterize, and qualify new parts for production. They ensure dispositions of rejected production encompass proper rework and effective corrective action when necessary. They control internal documentation to ensure processes are consistent, document records are managed, and traceability is maintained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Measure, analyze and report on qualification lots using Minitab and PowerPoint.
- Review and approve data from first article inspections.
- Correlate internal measurement procedures to customer procedures.
- Perform Measurement System Analysis for all new metrology.
- FAI image scanning.
- Maintain the calibration system by ensuring that calibrations are done on schedule.
- Perform internal calibrations
- Schedule and coordinate external calibrations.
- Maintain document control files for improved accessibility.
- Route and track controlled documents for review and approval.
- Maintain visual rejection standards.
- Follow-up and close out CAPACIs .
- Participate in internal quality audits : IATF 16949, ISO 13481, ISO 900.1
- Root cause analysis and report writing.
REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Base Wage : $32.00 - $38.00 DOE / E
