Our manufacturing facility is seeking a Shipping Specialist to prepare products for shipping & receive shipments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares products for shipping, following established procedures. (60%)
- Receives shipments, following established procedures. (35%)
- Operates a forklift and maintains current licensing/certification. (5%)
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions (written in English) furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic to intermediate level computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents (written in English) such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.t.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Must be able to count (by hand and by counting scale).
- Must regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to use a pallet jack to move up to 2,000 lbs
- Must be able to pass forklift license requirements as needed.
- Due to ITAR requirements, must meet the definition of a "US Person" as defined by ITAR.
Wage: $17.01 - $18.00, DOE/E
Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday
