Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for property management. You will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and ensuring tenant satisfaction while managing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in leasing activities including property showings and tenant screenings.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests using OneSite or similar property management software.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure maintenance standards are met and report any issues to the Property Manager.
- Manage office tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Support marketing efforts to attract potential tenants through effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software and property management tools like OneSite.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service and conflict management to handle tenant concerns professionally.
- Knowledge of property leasing processes and maintenance protocols is a plus.
- Housing Experience is a plus!
