Job Summary :
Optimum Origins is seeking a skilled Computer Technician to provide on-site and remote IT support to clients throughout South Florida . The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft technologies , networking principles , and hardware troubleshooting . This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory issues .
- Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs , including replacing faulty components.
- Manage software installations, updates, and system configurations .
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices , including antivirus and firewall configurations.
- Document service requests, resolutions, and client interactions in the ticketing system.
- Provide guidance and training to end users on IT-related best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and warranty repairs.
- Travel to client locations within South Florida as required.
