RV Service Foreman

Optimum RV, a growing full-service RV Dealer, is seeking an experienced RV Shop Foreman to join our team.

Summary:

The Shop Foreman is essential to the success of our service department. As a Shop Foreman with Optimum RV you will be responsible for dispatching orders to the appropriate technicians, making sure the work gets done efficiently and opening & communicating with the service advisors. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing the technicians' work.

Responsibilities:

• Directly oversee and support technicians.
  
  

• Assist Service Manager in training personnel.
  
  

• Carry out established policies and procedures.
  
  

• Perform quality assurance activities as directed through quality assurance inspections, random quality checks and training technicians in quality assurance.
  
  

• Assist Service Manager in resolving customer complaints and general customer relations.
  
  

• Assist Technicians with mechanical diagnosis and performance.
  
  

• Schedule, assign, and supervise work with the objective of maximizing the balance of quality, productivity, and profit.
  
  

• Supervise maintenance of tools and shop equipment.
  
  

• Maintain clean and safe shop
  
  

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations, at the shop division location.
  
  

• Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
  
  

• 5 years Shop Foreman experience
  
  

• Master Certified preferred
  
  

• Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
  
  

• Experience working in a heavy-duty truck dealership or independent shop environment is a requirement.
  
  

• Extensive knowledge of how service shop operation
