A key Optimus client is seeking a Contracts Administrator responsible for managing physical trading contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms to protect company interests. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience coordinating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand contract language and terminology.
- Act as the primary contact and subject matter expert for contractual matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to gather information and produce consistent documentation.
- Analyze, verify, and validate data to ensure accurate contracts and amendments.
- Assess and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with internal rules and procedures.
- Manage issuance, maintenance, and amendments of contracts efficiently and accurately.
- Handle multiple contracts simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–7 years in commodity trading, with at least 2 years in contracts or legal roles supporting marine and pipeline business.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, reliable, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Degree in Contract Administration, Contract Management, Commercial Law, Business Management, or a related field.
