Settlements Manager
A key Optimus client is seeking a highly experienced leader to oversee their crude oil settlements function. This role manages all crude movements from truck to pipeline to terminal, with a strong focus on lease crude truck ticketing. Deep expertise in lease crude settlements and process optimization is critical for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of settlements professionals.
- Oversee and enhance lease crude truck ticketing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate existing settlements workflows to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
- Develop and implement a roadmap for optimizing processes, procedures, and technology.
- Set and drive KPIs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Resolve open balances quickly while maintaining strong financial controls.
- Foster a customer service-oriented approach within the settlements team.
- Train and provide direction to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in lease crude truck ticketing and crude oil settlements.
- 5 years of experience managing and leading teams.
- Proven ability to develop, refine, and optimize crude ticketing and settlements processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience integrating new technologies for business efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience.
