Toddler Teacher

Options Early Childhood Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated addition to our team for our Waddler Room. This room will mainly be our infants and woddlers, with 1 lead teacher and 1 assistant.

Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to babies and young toddlers in a daycare setting
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for each baby
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Follow daily routines and schedules to ensure consistency for the children
- Monitor and supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement educational and recreational activities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility

Experience:
- Previous experience in daycare is required
- Familiarity with childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and individual needs of each child

Education:

-Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Education or a similar degree or a CDA

or be willing to enroll in a CDA program.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
