The Weight Loss Specialist (WLS) is a patient acquisition & program sales leader, providing outstanding new patient experiences, while assisting in the operations of the clinic. PSMs are cross trained in multiple external marketing & in clinic roles, to ensure the team is benefiting each other and aligning with overall OMWL business goals.
Position Responsibilities
- Performs patient consultations, providing education and information on the multitude of programs offered
- Responsible for follow-up on all leads, setting patient appointments and updating the EMR ensuring a final disposition is made on each potential patient inquiry.
- Proficient in all OMWL Prescription and non-Prescription patient programs.
- Serves as a role model to the team, coaching and developing staff.
- Creates new patient leads by generating relationships with outside referral resources.
- Crossed trained as a Weight Loss Counselor and conducts counseling sessions as needed/directed.
- Crossed trained as a Patient Coordinator and able to cover front desk as needed/directed.
- Become fully trained and then required to administer intramuscular injections to patients.
- Becomes fully trained and then educates patients to self-administer subcutaneous injections.
- Assists with clinic inventory as needed.
- Adheres to all HIPAA and OSHA protocols.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Competencies

• Proficient computer skillset required.
Required Education/Experience
• Two years in consultative sales and/or sales management role.
• Experience within the weight loss, nutrition, fitness, med spa or related industry.
• Inventory and budget management experience (preferred).
• Experience with setting and reaching quotas (required).
• Knowledge in nutrition, health, and dieting (recommended).
• EMR experience preferred.

- Average annual earnings for this role range from $42,000 - $50,000 with incentives
Salary : $40,000 - $43,000
