What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant Optometry position at Optometric Associates of Texas?
We are seeking a full-time medical assistant for our Mesquite office where we provide eye care services for 15-30 patients per day.
The medical assistant responsibilities include scheduling appointments, checking in and pretesting patients before the doctor examines them, dispensing contact lenses, teaching patients how to use contact lenses, and communicating with doctors, team members, and patients.
A well-qualified candidate has a friendly and outgoing personality and desire to work in a fast-paced clinic. Medical assistant schedules include Monday, Friday, and Saturday each week so candidates must be available to work on these days.
