Master Eye Associates is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Refracting Ophthalmic Technician to join our fast-paced clinic team. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting our optometrists with patient care, with a primary focus on performing refractions in the exam lane, assisting the doctor with special testing and contact lens fitting, and supporting processing patients efficiently in a busy clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform refractions and assist optometrists in eye examinations
Measure visual acuity and prepare patients for exams
Manage patient flow
Pre-test patients before they see the doctor
Dispense and educate patients on contact lens use.
Communicate effectively with doctors, team members, and patients.

Experience in optometry and refracting is required.

Schedule & Availability: This position will work alongside a doctor and thus we require working days for this role of Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30 - 5:30pm. Schedule may occasionally include Mondays and rotate a different off day.
