What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant for Optometry Office position at OPTOMETRIST OFFICE?
We are seeking a standout professional to join our team. Our office was voted Best Eye Doctor and Best Optical for Best of Indiana County in 2024. We only hire and work with the best.
Our newest team member must be: Detail oriented, Professional, Organized, Dependable, Manage time well, Outgoing, Authentic, Friendly, and Flexible
Primary tasks include but are not limited to:
Welcoming patients to our office
Assisting patients with picking out and ordering glasses & contacts lenses
Checking patients in/out & collecting copays
Secondary Tasks Include:
Seating patients in exam rooms
Medical History
Checking vision
Taking blood pressure with automated cuff
Getting the patient ready for the doctor
Opening/closing office
Applicants should have a high school degree or equivalent with availability to work, Monday through Friday and possess computer skills.
Experience welcome, however WE ARE HAPPY TO TRAIN! We have fun and work efficiently! We are a private Optometry practice with 20 years of experience with an established patient base. We were voted Best Optometry Office in Indiana County in 2024! We have two locations, Indiana and Blairsville.
