Optomi, in partnership with a leading global entertainment company, is seeking a Delivery & Operational Support Ops Analyst (Chief of Staff) to support their Platform Software Engineering Organization. This role will act as a right-hand partner to an SVP overseeing a 350-400 person engineering team and play a key role in optimizing delivery processes, improving organizational efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives.
This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires strong time management, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, thrive in ambiguity, and add immediate value by centralizing deliverables, optimizing workflows, and serving as a liaison between engineering, product, finance, and PMO teams.
This role is onsite 4 days per week in their local offices based in the following eligible locations:
- Glendale, CA / San Francisco, CA / Santa Monica, CA / Bristol, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Chief of Staff supporting one of two SVPs, ensuring alignment across teams and leadership objectives.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, finance, and PMO to standardize workflows, drive strategic initiatives, and improve efficiency.
- Manage Airtable to centralize deliverables, track key initiatives, and provide visibility into team priorities.
- Support organizational structure and process improvements, including org charts, delivery roadmaps, and strategy decks.
- Own and optimize communication channels, leadership reporting, and executive-level presentations.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration, ensuring business processes align with strategic goals.
- Navigate ambiguity and act as a problem-solver, identifying gaps and implementing solutions proactively.
- Assist with event planning (e.g., all-hands meetings, leadership summits, newsletters).
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of IT project management, business operations, or delivery experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate and influence at senior leadership levels.
- Expertise in Airtable (must be comfortable managing workflows in this tool).
- Proven ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and operate independently without hand-holding.
- Strong presentation and documentation skills (Keynote, PowerPoint, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and driving process improvement.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to pivot based on changing business needs.
