Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading financial firm, are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Level 1 Monitoring Center Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a monitoring center environment, a fundamental understanding of technology, and experience with cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. This role is responsible for ensuring the continuous monitoring of critical systems across on-premises and cloud infrastructures and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to maintain optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications from various platforms, including cloud environments (Azure, AWS), network, applications, servers, and databases.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic technical issues related to system performance, connectivity, and cloud resources.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical team or senior analyst.
- Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, including steps taken, resolutions, and any follow-up actions required.
- Perform routine checks and reports on system health and performance, focusing on both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Provide first-level support for clients and end-users, troubleshooting issues through phone, email, or ticketing systems.
- Assist in maintaining the integrity and availability of critical systems by responding to alerts and performing preventive tasks, including those within cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident response times and overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies in monitoring, especially in cloud environments like Azure and AWS, to ensure continual improvement.
