Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading client, are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner/Architect within the SDN space to work out of their Denver, Colorado office on a hybrid basis. This would be a 6 month long contract to hire paying up to $90/hr, with an anticipated conversion salary range of up to $245,000/year.
Role Overview:
- Project Nebula: Lead the creation of a comprehensive software-defined networking platform that will span the entire infrastructure.
- SD-WAN and API-Driven Solutions: Drive the development and orchestration of SD-WAN solutions, emphasizing software-defined and API-driven methodologies.
- Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth networking expertise, particularly in defining greenfield networks and integrating with technologies like Cisco ACI and OpenStack.
- Vendor Evaluation and Strategy: Play a key role in evaluating new technologies and vendors, defining strategy, and driving the direction of network architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design SDN solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing and new technologies.
- Advise on technology adoption and collaborate with stakeholders across various business units.
- Lead POC initiatives and drive the next iteration of network and storage technology.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, balancing hands-on expertise with strategic oversight.
