Location Lead - UF Health Atrium

Opus Coffee is local company established in 2002, with an in-house Roaster, Kitchen, and 10 Locations around Gainesville.

UF Health @ Shands Atrium is Opus Coffee's flagship store. This location is the busiest of the Opus Coffee stores and serves UF Health administrators, staff, patients, and their visitors Monday through Saturday. Our Atrium team consists of 10-15 baristas at any given time. A Location Lead oversees that team and the day-to-day operations, and reports to a regional General Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

• 40 hour workweek with a mix of early mornings and afternoons to provide crucial store front presence
• Inventory ordering and organization
• Weekly scheduling
• New hire orientation and training
• Communicating and coordinating with your team during store hours
• Submitting weekly reports to General Managers
• Attending monthly Location Lead meetings
• Delegating day-to-day tasks, enforcing policy and procedures, and making employee performance corrections
• Maintaining Opus Coffee standards of cleanliness and customer service

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the food service industry
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role in a fast-paced food service/coffee shop establishment
• Passionate about delivering high quality products and outstanding customer service, and understanding of the crucial role we have in supporting the UF Health community
• Able to keep calm and lead by example in a fast-paced environment
  
• Able to take an active role in guiding the team to ensure operational standards are continually met
  
• Willing to commit to at least one calendar year

Compensation for this role is $20.00 base pay per hour, plus cash and electronic tips, making for an hourly average of $24.00-25.00 hourly to start. You will also accrue PTO and be eligible for our company health insurance benefits.
