Provides exercise training and wellness activities to the members of the Shands Rehab Center's Wellness Programs. Educates members, health professionals and students about wellness.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or Related Area. NATA, APTA, NSCA, ACSM, State of Florida and/or ACE certification desirable within 6 months of hire. Prior experience in healthcare or wellness environment desired. Knowledge of A-V and computer technology for presentations a benefit. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: None provided Licensure/Certification/Registration: State of Florida ATC, State of Florida PT, NATA, APTA, NSCA, ACE and/or ACSM.
