Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining high occupancy rates. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to conflict management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in the real estate sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, including screening applicants and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate files and records of tenant applications, contracts, and property management documentation.
- Utilize Yardi software for tracking leases, tenant information, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and other applicable laws.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely manner to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.
- Provide administrative support related to real estate transactions and office operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate leasing preferred.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in using Yardi or similar property management software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with tenants and team members.
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally and maintain positive relationships with tenants.
- Knowledge of sales techniques related to property leasing is desirable.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $35,845.00 - $45,000.00 per year
