As a Team Lead Coordinator - Shipping for Opus Packaging you can expect to coordinate the product from production to the customer in coherence with promoting the corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Customer Service both internally and externally.
- Negotiate with vendors for services, negotiating the best service guarantee.
- Coordinate loads from production, load trailers, and ultimately the customer.
- Troubleshoot production/shipping discrepancies with Production Supervisor
- Assist in providing support relating to shipping problems; investigate and solve issues.
- Knowledge of ERP system
- Various administrative duties
- Compile and submit daily activities reports to the Supervisor.
- Meet daily with Scheduler to discuss schedule, current issues, and safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the corrugated industry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Work safely.
It would be great if you also have:
- At least 2 years of experience loading enclosed trailers using a forklift.
- Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of shipping, delivery and how they relate to customer needs.
- Ability to prioritize work with excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
During a normal workday you can expect to:
- Drive a forklift to move products, and to load and unload trucks.
- Work in an office setting at times to complete paperwork and enter data.
- Work with all levels of employees to ensure that products are correct, and orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner.
- Other tasks as needed.
