Our Assemblers build, test, and package small parts and products. Assemblers listen to instructions from supervisors, use handheld tools and medium-sized machines to assemble products, and perform product tests to ensure quality standards. We are looking for individuals who have experience in production or manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the willingness and ability to learn and follow repetitive assembly procedures.
All RegO employees may be required to attend hazardous waste management training, which could include but are not limited to RCRA, HazWhoper, and DOT Hazardous Waste training.
Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets simple blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements.
- Takes direction from supervisor to understand assembly procedures and production goals.
- Follows assembly procedures to build parts, using hands and small machinery.
- Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
- Positions align or adjust workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly.
- Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Packs finished parts for shipment, including labeling and bagging parts, adding the corresponding instruction information, and placing bagged parts into boxes.
- Examines products to verify quality, including Bonnet to Body Testing and ECL Testing.
- Identifies quality issues, determines causes, and reworks parts as necessary.
QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION:
Required:
- Integrity - Reliability, Responsibility, and Accountability.
- Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written.
- Ability to perform work in a safe manner.
- Must have high attention-to-detail and strong vision and hearing.
- Ability to learn new machines and production procedures.
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Manual dexterity (i.e. the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasps and manipulate objects of varying sizes).
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
- Skill in active listening and following directions.
Preferred – Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of the following machines and tools: Bonnet to Body Testing machine, ECL Test Station, and other assembly items.
