What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineering Professional position at OPW?
Succeeding as a Product Design Engineer at OPW requires more than just technical expertise. You'll need to excel in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and minimum 2-5 years experience in the design of mechanical components.
In this role, you'll participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) efforts, perform engineering testing/calculations, generate design changes, and review customer specifications. You'll also prepare and release new and revised drawings using our product lifecycle management software.
We're looking for someone who can work under pressure while balancing multiple priorities, achieve results utilizing key performance metrics, and possess strong computer skills. Experience with 3D modeling, FEA, and CFD is a plus.
