What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Maintenance Technician/Supervisor position at Ora Apps?
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance plans
- Diagnose and repair production equipment issues including motors, conveyors, pumps, bearings, etc.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and automation systems
- Manage pneumatic controls and components
- Enforce LOTO and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and GFSI regulations
- Apply 5S methodology to maintain clean, organized work areas
- Document maintenance activities and equipment history logs
- Lead, mentor, and train maintenance technicians
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and pneumatic systems
- Understanding of LOTO, GMP, HACCP, and 5S practices
- Comfortable with 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degree a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.22 - $30.73 per hour
